Yamatake presented at the 2nd IWA* Leading-Edge Conference on Water and Wastewater Treatment Technologies, held June 1-4, 2004 in Prague, Czech Republic.

The thesis, which focused on technologies for predicting inflow volume to a wastewater treatment plant and estimating areas with a high possibility of infiltration and inflow , was one of the thirty papers selected for oral presentation. It was included in the session “Rethinking the wastewater treatment concept.”
