Yamatake participated in the 9th IWA* Specialised Conference on Design, Operation and Economics of Large Wastewater Treatment Plants, September 1-4, 2003 in Prague, Czech Republic. Held once every four years, the conference gathered over 300 wastewater experts, including operators, consultants, professors, researchers and equipment suppliers, from 41 countries.

Yamatake introduced its Sewage Inflow Prediction System in the poster session for cutting-edge technology: and its poster was voted one of the 11 best posters (out of 75) by the conference’s Scientific Programme Committee. Recipients of the best poster award were invited to give a brief oral presentation in the main conference hall.
