During heavy rainfall, operators in the central monitoring room, at the pump station, and on patrol must coordinate their efforts in taking prompt action against excess inflow. If these operators have access to the same prediction information and rainfall forecasts in real-time, it would enable them to collectively respond to abnormal conditions and implement measures more effectively.
Web access from multiple remote terminals
Using the Internet, inflow volume predictions and rainfall forecasts viewed on a PC in the central monitoring room are also accessible by other authorized users via remote PCs and PDAs.
Customized, real-time information
Web pages displaying inflow volume predictions can be customized to show additional information, such as radar rainfall forecasts provided by a national weather observation system. Access to inflow volume predictions and rainfall forecasts in real-time enables operators to prepare for heavy rainfall in terms of staff assignments and pump operations.
