| Yamatake Industrial Systems Acquires
ISO 14001 Certification |
Yamatake Industrial Systems Co., Ltd.-including the
head office in Kanagawa, branch offices located at Tokyo, Chubu,
Kansai and Kyushu, and the Kawara Technology
Center-received ISO 14001 certification for the development, design, sales, engineering,
construction, adjustment, maintenance and management of industrial automation
systems and products and environmental solutions. The manufacturing activities
of industrial automation systems and products have already been certified to
ISO 14001 standards for environmental management systems with the Shonan factory
and Isehara factory earning ISO 14001 certification in November 1996 and March
1997, respectively.
Yamatake is the first Japanese control maker to acquire ISO 14001 certification of environmental management systems, in August 1996.
